How to Play Guitar Hero – The Multiplayer Modes
Guitar Hero is a game made truly for the senses. While on one hand
the game tests your hand eye synchronization skills, on the other hand
it tests your sense of rhythm and musical ability, even if you don’t
have any at first.
If you are a music buff, and literally eat and sleep music, the Guitar
Hero game is the perfect game for you. The game keeps you engaged for
hours and you can play it either alone or with another player. While
playing Guitar Hero alone can be a lot of fun, it is really exciting to
play the game in the multiplayer mode. The two main multiplayer modes
are the Face-off mode and the battle mode.

The battle mode is an interesting variation of the game, where you can
employ special powers to distract your opponent. When you get hold of
the Guitar Hero game, you will be able to go through the instruction
manual too, and it is highly advisable that you take in the steps for
the battle mode of the game well.
This is because, if not well acquainted with the rules, you may just
lose out in the ‘battle’. In this mode of the game, you need to gain
battle power and use this battle power to attack your opponent. Once you
have built up battle power, it will provide you with attacks to employ
on your opponent.
These attacks are used just like star power is used by moving the tip of
your guitar upwards. You have only the duration of the song to defeat
your opponent. It is not enough to just finish higher than the opponent
on the rock meter, but you must ensure that your opponent has lost.
Face Off mode is challenging too. Here the players choose a song to act
upon and then settle on their own difficulty level. However, once the
track begins, the levels get reset. This happens because the star powers
from the single-player game are substituted in the Face Off mode by
tunefully supported attacks.
For example, if you do well and get a star power, you can turn on
attacks like tearing an opponent player’s guitar string. For this, you
have to jam over and over again on the broken button. This momentarily
escalates the opponent's level of difficulty, resulting in your rival's
amplifier to overload. Making every note flicker off and on for half a
minute as he or she slides down to the base of the screen, flinging
double notes on the opponents screen, and setting free a "double lefty"
attack, which causes the opponent's fret bar colors to toss and thus
puzzle even a champion plate. You can pile up the attacks too.
The Guitar Hero game is really a very enjoyable game and keeps you in
front of your TV for hours. It is also an ideal game to play with
friends. If you are planning a night in with some buddies, get some
drinks, some food and definitely enjoy this fun game. When playing
Guitar Hero you will soon you will find yourself shouting and screaming
in excitement. |
